After grounding in sales & marketing with an FMCG company Nick learned the basics of advertising with JWT in London after which he helped establish the production department of a local advertising agency in his home town of Maidenhead.
He experimented with several new ventures. These included a car breakdown service, wine distribution and a recording label before setting up a marketing services company.
This last one led to a successful business pioneering computer graphics. This innovation required raising finance in the city and applying cutting edge marketing, operations and strategic concepts to create a successful business. This led to requests to speak at conference internationally about his experience.
After setting up further new divisions, he sold the core business and went back to university to study for a Masters in Business Administration.
Graduating from Imperial College Management School with a Distinction, he operated as an Interim Chief Executive of a number of mid-tier organisations both in the public and private sectors. He was sought after to transform dysfunctional organisations and to create structure in complex start-ups.
He has been mentoring, coaching and consulting to owners and Boards of mid-tier businesses. His focus has been on what they should do so he can help them to find the right buyer who will recognise their real value.
Lately he as been Chairman and Director of companies guiding them to greater successes.
